Line weights, Curves, and Thicknesses

This week, my classmates and I started on our second project. Our professor gave us limited guidelines which allowed us to use more creativity to design our models. Our task was to pick a song and transform it into a physical model. In the attached picture, I was drawn to the building's round curves and contrasting straight edges. I wanted to integrate this concept into my model because it resembles the essence of "Summertime" by Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald, the song I selected. The dreamy tune with its bluesy rhythm and soothing piano evoked thoughts of undulating and curvy lines.
