What’s Up Nevelson!

I went to the MFAH to see Nevelson’s piece and I have some critics. I feel like this piece, compared to some of her other’s, didn’t break up the box. This piece is one of her most organized ones but it loses the effect that Nevelson has in her work, being an organized mess. Looking closer, majority of her boxes’ shapes sit in the foreground. She loses a lot of depth that her other works have. I enjoy the repetition, how some boxes are identical but the top row is too repetitive and could’ve been broken up more.
