Still Life of Musical Instrument

This piece is inside the MFAH. It stood out to me because of the layering. I thought the way the artist layered the sheets of bronze highlights the instrument in the middle and creates depth. It reminds me of Nevelson’s work, how each individual box in her works are layered onto each other creating different depths.
