I hate Nevelson’s designs. Everywhere I go I see her work. I can’t escape her, in my studio class, we are working on plaster molds inspired by her designs. I have learned the importance of having layers and creating texture to create a design with depth and complexity. Organized and scattered, squares and wavy lines, all roads lead back to Nevelson.
